  • Valid driving license:

    • UAE residents: UAE license

    • Tourists: passport + international driving permit (IDP) or approved country license

  • Valid Emirates ID (for residents)

  • Usually same-to-same (return with same fuel level)

  • Refueling charges apply if not returned properly

1. Agreement Overview By renting a vehicle from Double Car Rental, the renter agrees to comply with all terms outlined in this agreement, as well as applicable laws in the United Arab Emirates.

Driver Eligibility The renter must be at least 21 years old (25+ for certain vehicles). A valid driving license is required: UAE residents: UAE driving license Tourists: Passport, visa, and valid home country license or International Driving Permit Only drivers listed in the agreement are permitted to drive the vehicle.

Rental Period The rental period begins and ends as stated in the contract. Late returns may result in additional charges. Extensions must be approved in advance.

Payment Terms Rental charges must be paid in advance unless otherwise agreed. Accepted payment methods include cash, debit/credit card, or bank transfer. The renter is responsible for all additional charges incurred during the rental period.

Security DepositA refundable security deposit is required at the time of rental.The deposit may be used to cover:DamagesTraffic finesSalik chargesRefunds are processed within 5-10days, subject to clearance of fines.

Vehicle Use The renter agrees: To use the vehicle responsibly and in accordance with UAE traffic laws Not to use the vehicle for: Illegal activities Racing or off-road driving (unless permitted) Subleasing or commercial use without approval

Insurance & Liability Basic insurance coverage is included as per UAE regulations. The renter is liable for: Any deductible/excess amount in case of an accident Full cost of damages in case of negligence or violation of terms Optional full insurance may be available at an additional cost.

Accidents & Damage All accidents must be reported immediately to authorities. A police report is mandatory in the UAE. Failure to provide a police report may result in full liability for damages.

Fuel Policy Vehicles must be returned with the same fuel level as provided. Refueling charges apply if not complied with.

Mileage Limit Daily mileage limits apply as specified in the agreement. Additional charges apply for excess mileage.

Fines & Violations The renter is responsible for all traffic fines incurred during the rental period. Administrative fees may apply for processing fines.

Cancellation Policy Cancellations must be made within the specified period to qualify for a refund. Late cancellations or no-shows may result in charges.

Termination of Agreement The company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement if: Terms are violated The vehicle is misused No refunds will be issued in such cases.

Vehicle Return The vehicle must be returned in the same condition as received (reasonable wear and tear excepted). A final inspection will be conducted upon return.

Governing Law This agreement is governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be handled by the competent authorities in Dubai.

Amendments Double Car Rental reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.

Payment Methods

💳 . Payment & Deposit

  • Security deposit: typically AED 500 to 1000 AED  (higher for luxury cars)

  • Deposit held on credit card and released after 1–10 days

  • Rental payment often required in advance
